Freeman, Joan à Passed away at Grey Gables, Markdale on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Joan Mary Elizabeth Freeman (nee Avis) of Markdale in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Keith Freeman. Dear mother of Karen (Terry Pink) of Durham, Rob Freeman (Melinda), Kathy (Brent Fraser) and Kelly (Shawn Miller) all of Markdale. Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Corey (Kara) and Ian Pink; Kayla, Karla and Kirsten Freeman; Ella & Breanna Fraser; Hayley & Meghan Miller. Dear great-grandmother of Britney Pink, Elizabeth Freeman and Abagail Freeman. Sister of Robert Avis (Muriel) of Flesherton. Sister-in-law of June Falls of Meaford, Doug Freeman (Eleanor) of Eugenia and Ruth Freeman of Guelph. Survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Morris Freeman and Ormand Falls. The family will receive friends at the May Funeral Home, Markdale Friday from 2-4:00pm and 7-9:00pm where a funeral service will be held Saturday Dec 21st at 11:00am. Interment in Markdale Cemetery.
