Alberto Franco, a fun loving jokester also known as Nonno, Dad, Pops, Albertucio, Roc-Antonio, Gigi, Charlie, Cookie, Cock-a-Roach, and Coccia Pelata, passed away quietly and peacefully on October 22, 2015, at the Trillium Health Centre, after a long battle with chronic illness and dementia.
Born on January 28, 1926 in Esperia, Frosinone, Italy, predeceased in death by his parents Michele and Anna Maria Franco and beloved wife of 58 years, Luigia (Gina) Franco. Loving father of Michele and his wife Rosa, Tony and his wife Rita, and Aldo and his wife Andrea. Dearly missed by his grandchildren Daniel, Fabio, Amelia, Julia, Hope and Mateo. Beloved brother of Stefano (Teresa deceased), Rosa (Adamo deceased), Giulio (Rosa), Giovanni (Sally), Antonio (Maria), sisters in law Nellie, Franca and Civita (Domenico deceased). Predeceased in death by brothers Pasquale, Lorenzo, Damiano and Carmine. Alberto will be dearly missed by his many neices and nephews, friends and family.
