DOERING, Wayne. October 19, 1941-January 6, 2017. It is with sad hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. Wayne Doering of New Hamburg is survived by his wife Donna (nee Krantz), sons Dale and Chris (Maria), grandchildren Ulric, Dietrich, Osmond and Gavin. Predeceased by his parents Austin and Ida (nee Becker), his brother Clare (Marlene), in laws; Sue and Emerson Krantz, sisters and brother in-law; Catherine, Ted and Lorna. Wayne was a former employee of Savage Shoes and retired from Alloy Castings in New Hamburg. He was also a historic car enthusiast. He enjoyed listening to blue grass and older country music. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3357 Erbs Road, Philipsburg, from 12 p.m. till 2 p.m. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Pastor Joanna Miller officiating. Spring interment at Rushes Cemetery, Crosshill. Donations to Zion Lutheran Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
