Passed away peacefully at home. Survived by loving husband Dennis Cybulskie; brothers James Gibb (Gail) and Robert Gibb (Bonnie); sons Stephan Cybulskie (Tara), Sean Cybulskie, and Daniel Cybulskie (Daniele); and grandchildren Justin, Payton, Anouk, and Arden.
Born in Timmins, Ontario, Sylvia was a proud and vibrant member of the Porcupine community, volunteering her time and delicious baking to students at Whitney P.S. and Roland Michener S.S. Loving and compassionate, Sylvia cared for the elderly at Porcupine Manor, and for many young children in her home over the years. After moving to Corbeil in 1996, Sylvia quickly won the hearts of its community with her quiet acts of kindness, her unfailing friendship, and her easy sense of humour. She will be remembered always for the love and warmth she showed to all who had the privilege of meeting her.
A celebration of life will be held with details TBA. In lieu of flowers, donations to One Kids Place Children’s Treatment Centre, North Bay, are greatly appreciated.
