Passed away at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Wednesday June 9, 2016. Gordon Stewart of Norwood in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Doreen Varty. Dear father of Scott (Madeline) of Norwood, Karen (the late Doug Ing) of Rockwood, Ron (Heather) of Kemptville, Lori (Peter Loucks) of Keene, Michelle (Michael Clow) of Gananoque and the late baby Stewart, Perry & Paul. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Tara (Randy), Greg (Shelley), Jesse (Kaja), Lucas (Amanda) and great grandchildren Lily, Aidan & Liam, McKenzie, Ethan & Grace. Dear brother of Beatrice Moseby, Barbara Ninatti, Allen and the late Robert, Nellie, Harry, Bruce, Walter and Wallace. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL on Wednesday June 15, 2016 from 11:30 AM à 2:00 PM. A Royal Canadian Legion Memorial Service will commence at 2:00 PM followed by the funeral service. A reception will follow at the R.C.L. Br. #300, Norwood. A private family interment will be held at Trent Valley Cemetery, Hastings at a later time.
