Hughes-Hertz, Fern – It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Fern on February 3, 2016. Beloved wife of Norm for over 19 years. She will be greatly missed by all of her family members especially her Daughter Heather Card (Graeme) and sister in-law June Colbourne. Fern is predeceased by her first husband Frank Hughes and her brother Paul Colbourne. Fern loved her family and friends and will be remembered by them as a kind woman who always had the time to listen. She was well known as a regular at the Paradiso Restaurant. Friends and family will be received on Saturday February 13th from 12pm until 2pm at the Oakview Funeral Home 56 Lakeshore Rd W. Oakville(1 block east of Kerr St).
