Healy: Mary (nee Heitzner) peacefully, after a longtime battle with Alzheimers, at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 in her 91st year. Mary Healy of Orillia, beloved wife of John Healy for 58 years. Loving mother of Rosemary (Rosie) Healy of Uptergrove, Josephine (Josie) Mullins of St. Louis, MO, USA, John (Carolyn) of Uptergrove, Ann (John) DeJesus of Woodbridge, Yvonne (Dave) Singh of Newmarket and Leo (Christina) Healy of Ramara. Also loved and cherished by her grandchildren Jared, Sean, Becky, J.J., Bridget, Joey, Meagan, Joshua, Kristofer, Madelyn and Nathan. Mary is survived by her sister Anne (Bill) Griffin of Scarborough, sister-in-laws, Audrey Heitzner of Scarborough, Mary Heitzner of Newmarket and their families. She is predeceased by her twin sister Theresa Heitzner and brothers Francis, Joseph and Cyril Heitzner. Mary taught at Fairvalley School in Mara Twsp early in her career and continued for many years at Foley Separate School in Brechin. The family would like to thank the staff at Leacock Care Centre for their care and support. The late Mrs. Mary Healy will rest at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St.,N., Orillia on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. Then to St. Columbkille’s Roman Catholic Church, 4993 Hwy 12, Uptergrove for Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 27th at 10 am. Interment; St.Columbkille’s Church Cemetery, Uptergrove. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society or the St. Columbkille’s Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
