Avis de décès de Megan Ryan
Megan Ryan was a bright light in every one of the many lives she touched. She had a joyful, adventurous spirit, a kind, loving heart, boundless creativity, and a contagious laugh. Megan passed away on August 17 after a tragic accident, surrounded by her family and friends. She was taken too soon, but we will treasure all of the time we had with her.
Megan is survived by her mother Nancy (née Keech) and father David Ryan, her siblings twin brother Sean and sister Elanor, sister-in-law Vanessa Gallant and niece Olivia, grandfather Peter and his wife Diana and by aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
There will be a celebration of her life on Sunday, August 23 at the Hulse Playfair & McGarry Central Chapel at 315 McLeod St. at 11am.
Megan’s generous nature is evident in the fact that she had signed her donor registration card. Because of that selfless action, her heart and kidneys will bring hope and joy to the lives of three other families.
We would like to thank all of the staff at the Ottawa Civic Hospital ICU for their heroic efforts and incredible compassion.
