Peacefully in hospital on August 6, 2016 at the age of 95. Dearly beloved husband of Marion (nee Hemming) for 67 years. Sadly missed by his children Don (Sue), David (Joseph) and Heather. Loving Grandad to Jordan (Kate), Scott and Christopher (Julie).
Dad came from a large loving family of 10 children. He served with the British Army during WW II and was a long time employee of Carleton University. He enjoyed gardening, darts and was an avid sports fan particularly golf and soccer – but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Leslie’s Life will be held at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 1pm. A reception will follow. For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
