It is with great sadness that we announce that Lucien passed away on November 5, 2016. He will be deeply missed by his loving family, wife of 58 years Claudette (Jolicoeur), his children Rachelle (Daniel Desautels), Francine, Denis (Estelle), and Christine (Brent Helm). Predeceased by his parents Ovila Cyr and Joséphine (Rochon) and brother Marcel. Lucien will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Christian (Lindsay) and Stéphane (Kristina), Eric and Nathalie, Mélina (Greg) and Jean-Michel, Geoffrey and Brandon, great-grandchildren Mackayla and Annabelle. He leaves behind many siblings, Gérard (Lorna), Annette (Maurice), Hélène (Serge), Diane (Michel), Richard, Jacqueline, Michel (Andrée), a brother and sister-in-law Albert (Lois) and Monique (Jean-Paul) as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to the memorial service at Notre-Dame de Lourdes (435 Montreal Road) on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Family will receive friends and family between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. Special thanks to the Transitional Care Nursing staff of the Ottawa General Hospital for taking such good care of Lucien.
