Born in Bathurst, New Brunswick. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Ida Pitre. Vange will be hugely missed by her family, husband of 61 years, Ted, sons Darrell (Lisa), Wayne (Nicole) and Dean (Tamara). Grandma to Kurtis, Dylan, Shauna, Taylor, Cecile and Tye. Great Grandma to little William. She will also be dearly missed by her siblings, Jeanne, Carmella, Rose-Marie, Elizabeth, Roger, late brothers Gerard, Herman, Rheal, Emile, Jean-|Claude and late sister Rita, as well as many nieces and nephews, and an extended music family of the Ottawa Valley. The family sincerely thanks the staff at the New Orchard Lodge and for the compassionate care received by the Queensway Carleton Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 2 p.m. Reception immediately following. A donation to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
