LINTON, Doreen – it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Doreen Linton at Garden Terrace, Kanata on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the age of 85 years.
Doreen Linton, formerly of Pembroke, wife of the late Robert “Bob” Linton (1982). She was a loving mom and will be so missed by her children Shelly Lemke (Jim), Donald (Danica), Trish Slater (Neil), and Joann O’Donnell (Willy). She will also be missed by her grandchildren Jennifer Dunmore (Andrew), Angela Lemke (Brendan) & Chad Lemke; Chris Linton (Ashley); and Travis O’Donnell (Kayla) & Skylar O’Donnell (Lauren) and four great-grandchildren Emma & Bronson Dunmore, Jace Linton and Oliver O’Donnell. Daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth McVicar (nee Locke).
Thanks to all the staff at Garden Terrace in all departments for all the care and compassion given to our mom, especially 4th floor staff. Special thanks to Shirley Richardson, mom’s angel and adopted daughter for brightening mom’s days.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Wesley United Cemetery, Pembroke. Donations to the MS Society would be appreciated. Online donations & condolences are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
