It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of our Mom (Frances) who left us peacefully on July 13, 2012 at the age of 92. Daughter of the late John Zappa and Annie Prince; predeceased by her first husband Jules Cliche and second husband Merle Bowes. She will be deeply missed by her devoted children Wayne (Evelyn) and Brenda (Mark Mullan) along with her precious grandchildren who were very special to her, Crystal (Cory Hamilton), Meghan, Michael and Morgan and her great-granddaughter Taylor. Gramma was so very proud of all of you and loved you all so very much. Survived by her brother Johnny and sisters Helen and Anna. Predeceased by brothers Frank, Martin, Albert, Peter, Louis, Philip, Jimmy, George and Harold and sisters Margaret and Theresa. She will be remembered and missed by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Uppal and the Ground Floor nurses at St. Patrick’s Nursing Home for their compassionate care. Family and Friends may pay their respect at Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke, Ontario on Wednesday, July 18th from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, July 19th from 9 a.m. until the time of the Catholic Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. that will be held at St. Columbkille Cathedral, 188 Renfrew Street, Pembroke, Ontario. Mom will then be laid to rest beside her first husband Jules at St. Columbus Catholic Cemetery Pembroke. In Lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
