It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Rene at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre with his family by his side on Saturday February 25th at the age of 68 years. Beloved husband of Marie Lafreniere (née Juneau) for 47 years. Loving father of Steven (Susanne), Leanne Brown (Darren), Peter and predeceased by Vicki Lynn. Cherished Pepere of Easton. Son of the late Rosario and Valentine Lafreniere. Dear brother of Rita Quesnelle (Dan) and predeceased by Raymond Lafreniere (Shirley). Lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, and best friends. Visitation will be held at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Penetanguishene on Tuesday February 28th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Penetanguishehene Funeral Home on Wednesday March 1st at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated.
