Peacefully surrounded by her family, Joy Marion Holbrough (nee Freer), of Petrolia, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at C.E.E. Hospital, Petrolia, at the age of 56. Loving wife of Larry Holbrough. Cherished and devoted mother of Colin (Jill) Holbrough, Brad (Naomi) Holbrough, and Carly Holbrough (Teddy). Treasured grandma of Karis, Griffin, Gemma, River, Dekker, and Matilda (Tilly). Joy is survived by her father Tom Freer, her brother Jay Freer, and her nieces Alyssa and Kayla. Predeceased by her mother Mary Freer (2008). Visitors will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Jill Rogers officiating. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation (Continuing Care).
