Dieter passed away suddenly in his 86th year on July 17th, 2015 at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital. Dieter was born in Hamburg Germany, and was a long term employee of Ontario Hydro in Toronto. He was an avid sailor and long time member of Queen City Yacht Club and Prince Edward Yacht Club. Beloved husband of Sheila, father of Gregory, Stephanie, and Thomas. Step father to Nancy, Sally (Paul), and the late Erin. Grandfather to Karsten, Heidi, Larsen, Jesse, Jennifer, Brenden, and Kate. A memorial service will be held at the Whattam Funeral Home Chapel on Friday July 31st at 2:00 pm. followed by interment at Rose Cemetery, Waupoos.
