Avis de décès de Patricia Ann Clout check_circle

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Patricia Ann Clout (nee Chapdelaine) on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in her 76th year. Predeceased by her husband Robert Clout (2011). Loving sister of Jeannette (late Ed) Kalynuik, Jacqueline (James) Crawford and brother John (Dorothy) MacDonald. Cherished niece of Arthur Couture and Norman (Alda) Couture. Dear cousin of Norman, David, Greg, Debbie, Cheryl Anne (Ron) Polidori and their children Erika, Andrea and Lucas; James (Leanne) Crawford and their children Kyle and Jordan; Jeffrey (Kelly) Crawford and their children Danika, Kharrington, Jennifer, Daniel and Katherine, James (Cathy) Kalynuik, and their children Katie, Karlie and Emily. Kenneth Kalynuik, and Patrick Kalynuik. Pat also leaves behind stepchildren and granddaughters à Mark (Karen) and Simone; Barry (Maureen) Jerri and Meghan; Kelly (Rick). While growing up in Port Colborne, Pat shared her many talents on the baseball diamond as a Port Colborne Commette and on the stage with the Port Colborne Operatic Society.

She began her teaching career at St. Dominic Savio School at the age of 18. Her love of the North and Robert led her to make her home in North Bay. There she and Bob shared their love of the outdoors by snowmobiling, fishing, canoeing, camping and hunting. She continued with her passion of teaching and retired from the Nipissing District School Board after 35 dedicated years.

Many a family trip was shared with Pat and Bob on the shores of Lake Nipissing à her home until Bob’s passing. After Bobs death, Pat returned (home) to Port Colborne to once again be close to her cherished family. Aunt Pat, Patsy will forever be remembered as the spunkiest firecracker to all who knew her. Her quick wit and actions could change a boring story into one that had everyone in stitches. Her love of teaching, reading and writing Rebus letters was legendary. Although Pat’s departure leaves a void, she leaves us all a lifetime of memories. Patricia’s family will welcome visitors on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco R.C. Church, 375 Main Street, West, Port Colborne, with Father Peter Walton as celebrant. If so desired memorial donations may be made to St. John Bosco Church.
