Peacefully, on Sunday, April 12, 2015, at the Caressant Care Nursing Home in Lindsay, at age 91.
Dorothy (nee McIntyre), beloved wife of the late Wilbert DeShane. Loved mother of Bob DeShane and his wife Marilyn of Lindsay, Neil DeShane of Port Perry, and Jane DeShane of Courtice. Loving grandmother of Paula (Peter), Craig (Robin), and Krysten (Tim) and great grandmother of Hayley, Elizabeth, Collin and Carson. Dorothy was predeceased by her sisters Margaret Baker and Joyce Van Dyke, and her brother L.Cpl. Norman McIntyre (1944).
The Family of Dorothy DeShane will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME “McDermott-Panabaker Chapel” 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905- 985-2171) on Tuesday, April 14th from 2 à4 and 7 à 9 p.m.
A Service to celebrate her life will be held in St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Port Perry on Wednesday, April 15th at 11 a.m. with Reverend Sandy Beaton officiating. Private interment Pine Grove Cemetery.
