A light went out in our hearts on Thursday August 18th 2016. Gertrude Hindley (nee Ellis), of Montreal, at the age of 86 passed away peacefully at The Grove Nursing Home. Gertrude Hindley, beloved wife of Ernest Hindley of Island View Suites. Much loved mother of Brian (Marie Josee Daudelin), Susan (Paul) Scherbak and Gail (Charlie) Dagg. Cherished grandmother of Tania, Kris, Bailey, Thomas, Emilie and William. Adored great grandmother of Ty, Tia, Trey and Theo. Predeceased by her parents William Ellis and Emily Switzer. Visitation will be held at the Boyce Funeral Home Monday from 10 – 12 noon. Liturgy of the Word will be conducted Monday August 22, 2016 in the Boyce Chapel at 12:00 noon, In memoriams to the Alzheimer’s Society of Renfrew County would be appreciated by her family.
