At Bluewater Health on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, DR. CHESLEY GEORGE COLWELL, age 89 of Sarnia passed away. He was the loving husband of Ivy Veronica (Mousseau) Colwell of Sarnia and dear father of Ann Colwell-Cruttenden of England, Joy Savage (William) of Orangeville and Chesley Colwell of Sudbury, grandfather of Carla Cruttenden, Lynne and Melissa Savage and Jorden Colwell, great-grandfather of Chelsea and Alexis, brother of Austin Colwell (Glenna) of St. John, NB. He was a member of the initial graduating class of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1949. He practiced in Sudbury for many years. Dr. Colwell was a Mason and a member of Liberty Lodge #419. A celebration of Dr. Colwell’s life will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 11:00 am. The Liberty Lodge #419 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:15 am.
