EHMAN, LORNA à On December 30, 2015, Lorna Caroline Ehman, (nee Morris), age 90 of Petrolia passed away peacefully at Fiddick’s Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband Saul Ehman (1989), parents Red (Lorne) Morris and Addie (Edith, nee Collins), sister, Eleanor Jackson, 2015, and brother-in-law Dave Jackson, 2015. She was the mother of David (Gina) Ehman of Ottawa, Kathy Ehman and Nancy Ehman of Petrolia, grandmother of Sam Warning (Erin), Russ Warning (Laura), Lindsey Ehman-Mullins (James) and Rob Ehman, and great-grandmother of Molly and Daylen, Gavin and Max. Lorna will be greatly missed by her brother and sisters by marriage, Bill and Ardis Ehman and Marjorie Ehman (George, 2001) and by nieces, nephews, their spouses and children. Lorna valued and nurtured genuine bonds with friends, coworkers, neighbours, especially with the staff and residents of St. Francis House, Petrolia, where her daughter Nancy became one of the facility’s first residents, in 1990. Her random acts of kindness touched many lives. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Thursday, January 7th, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the service time.
