Born in Sarnia on November 19, 1930, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health- Palliative Care on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Bertha for 68 years. Loving father of Ken (Penny) Dowswell, Tony (Vicki) Dowswell, Randy (Linda) Dowswell, Karen (Mark) Overholt, and Joanne (Rob) Martin. Treasured grandfather of 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Earl retired in June of 1986 from the City of Sarnia as Superintendant of the Works Department. Earl was a longtime member of Bethel Pentecostal Church.
Visitation
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Bethel Pentecostal Church, 1565 London Line, Sarnia, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Service
A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
