Peacefully at Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, Eva Mae Doyle passed away at the age of 90. Loving wife of the late William Doyle and mother of Rick (Barb) Doyle of Port Franks, Linda Erwin of Kissimmee, Florida, and the late Sue Doyle of Kissimmee, Florida. Cherished grandmother of Sandra (Bill) Mallett, Karen (Gord) Page, Ryan Doyle, and Martin, Kim and Denise Erwin. Blessed with 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Survived by her dear sister Barb (Jim) Whitfield, brother-in-law Bud (Jessie) Doyle, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Irene Saylor. Eva was an avid member of the Swinging 8’s Square Dancers, S.Y.C. She served her community as a leader in the Point Edward Girl Guides. Eva was an active member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 210 Michigan Ave., Point Edward, where the memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Kristen Aikman officiating. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff and volunteers at Trillium Villa Nursing Home for their continued care and compassion. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Salvation Army, or St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Point Edward (cheques only at the funeral home please).
