FOSTER, Lillian à February 8, 1925 à June 22, 2013 à It is with deeply saddened hearts we announce the passing of Lillian (Lil) Foster (Fauteux) at Marshall Gowland Manor, June 22, 2013 at the age of 88. She will be greatly missed by her housemates and caregivers of 5 ½ years, her son Jim and his wife Melanie, grandchildren; Paige, Mitchell, Tyler, Taya and the pets of the house poochies; Tobi and Sassi, the menews (cats); Brodi and Dudli. She will also be missed by her children and grandchildren, brother Joe (Iris) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband of 60 years Norman, son Johnny, daughter Pam, son Donald and 11 siblings. Special thanks to granddaughter Paige, daughter Dee and caregiver/friend Mary Lee who were by her bedside. We would also like to thank the staff at Marshall Gowland Manor on the Poppy Wing for the care, compassion and friendship they had with Lil during her short time there.
Visitation
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 4, 2013
at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London line, Sarnia from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Service
A funeral service celebrating Lil’s life will be held directly following the visitation at 1:00 p.m.
The interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
