Death Notice
Surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 2, 2016, at Bluewater Health, Margaret Jean Holden passed away at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm Holden (1985). Loving mother of Dolores and her husband Don Payne and the late Don Holden (2013) and his wife Brenda. Cherished grandmother of Julie, Shelley, and Jeff Holden, and Deanna and her husband Kyle Clothier. Treasured great grandmother of Cole and Hailey Clothier. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Gordon Yake (1983) and sister Ruth Greenaway (2011). Margaret was a longtime member of the Sarnia Optimist Club and the Rebekah Lodge. A funeral service will be held at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., with family and friends being received one hour prior. A private interment will be held in Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
