Peacefully, on Thursday, September 27, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, Terry Neely passed away. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland April 25, 1924. Daughter of Anne and Jack Whitlock. Grew up in Southampton, England. Member of Women’s Land Army from age 17 to 21. Member of the United Kingdom Club. 70 year member of the Catholic Women’s League. Immigrated to Canada in 1946 as a War Bride to Donald Neely. Mother of Paul of Vancouver, Carla (Ken), Karen, Barb, Maureen, Mark, and Sandra (Maurizio). Beloved Nana of Krista (Chris) of Naples, Florida, Meagan (Jay) of Asheville, NC, Joscelyn of Nelson, BC, Preston Fisher, Jeremy (Danielle), Karlie, Nick (Lyndsay), Dominic, Jason, Melissa, and Jaydee. Great-Nana of Paige, Liv, Janine, Jacqueline, Nadine, Lincoln, Olivia, and Emily. Predeceased by her husband Donald (1974) and granddaughter Shannon Elizabeth Neely (1986). Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with prayers being offered at 8:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church, 1011 Oak Ave., Sarnia at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
