Passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on July 26th 2016 at the age of 94. He leaves behind his wife of 68 years Louise (Kirkwood) and his daughters Gloria (Robert Hart), Debbie (Leonard McLean), Trisha (Brian Barkley), Julia Freeland, his grandchildren Rhonda, Jeff, Chad, Trevor, Andrew, Sarah, Erica, and 11 great-grandchildren. Earl is survived by his brother Carl and predeceased by brothers Doug, Ron, Reg, and Harry. Friends and family are invited to a public visitation which will be held on Friday July 29th from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) with a Funeral Service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at South Mountain Library. Donations may be made to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Charity of Your Choice.
