Of St. Thomas, passed away suddenly, with her family by her side, at LHSC, University Hospital, on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, in her 63rd year. She will be sadly missed by her husband, William J. (Jim) Green, her mother, Betty (nee Bowlby) Pickersgill Unich (late George Pickersgill) of St. Thomas, her children, Dianne Myers (Rob) of London, John Temple (Shannon) of Port Stanley, Theresa Clutton (John) of London, Georgina Middel (Marty) of Goderich, Pamela DeLine (Dave) of London, and Sandy Reisiger (Rick) of Sparta, her grandchildren, Karlee, Joshua, Nicholas, Casey, Brian, Christine, Jason, Robert, and Gordon, her great grandchildren, Grayson and Mya, and by her siblings, Mary Patriquin (Randy) of St. Thomas, Bruce Unich (Barb) of Calgary, AB, Brian Unich (Sheri) of St. Marys, and Vera Unich of St. Thomas. Also fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Cathy was born in St. Thomas on June 8, 1951. She was a retired cafeteria worker at Parkside Collegiate Institute, and a former employee of Walmart, IGA, and Therm-O-Disc. Relatives and friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Sunday, June 8th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Central United Church, 135 Wellington St. (at Moore), St. Thomas on Monday, June 9th at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or the Kidney Foundation of Canada gratefully acknowledged.
