Cook, Jean Kathleen of St. Thomas, passed away on Friday, March 7th, 2014, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 84th year. Wife of the late William Marlatt and the late George Cook. Loved partner of Andrew Groenendyk and dearly loved mother of Linda McWilliams (Mike) of St. Thomas, Brenda Johnson (Jeff) of Ingersoll, Debbie Holborn (Carman) of Iona, Judy Marlatt of St. Thomas, Barbara Blakely (Eanon) of St. Thomas, Sherry VanRaes (Darcy) of Rodney and Rosemary Budden (William) of St. Thomas. Sadly missed by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Jean was born in Wallacetown on August 15, 1930, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Elizabeth Temple. She was a former member of Branch 41 of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow, with interment of ashes in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
