Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday November 12, 2016 at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital at the age of 91. Fred of Stayner, beloved husband of Evelyn for 60 years. Loving father of Judy Henson (late Gerald), Larry and Roger. Cherished grandfather of Todd (Samantha) and Trevor Henson and Caitlyn and Wade Stever. Great-grandfather of Abbigale and Wyndham Henson. Fred was the brother of 10 siblings. He will be missed by his large extended family. Fred was a Charter Member of the Stayner Lions Club serving the community for over 60 years and a longtime Main Street business owner. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home à Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Wednesday November 16, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Service will be held at Jubilee Presbyterian Church, 7320 Highway 26, Stayner on Thursday November 17, 2016 at 11 a.m.. Interment Stayner Union Cemetery.
