It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Ellen Gascho peacefully in the loving arms of her husband Paul who was at her side at Sakura House Hospice in Woodstock, on Sunday June 9, 2019. We celebrate a life well lived here on earth, and the beginning of her new everlasting life with her Lord and Saviour. Sharon was 57, born in Leamington, Ontario November 6, 1961, to Harry and Margaret Driedger. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years Paul Gascho; her dear children Joy (Shaine) Kubassek of Stratford, Christopher Gascho of Kitchener and Brandon Gascho Kitchener. She will also be missed dearly by her 7 grandchildren; Trinity, Jade and Liam Kubassek, Zion, Chenia, Josiah and Lilly Gascho. She will also be missed by her father Harry Driedger of Hanover; siblings Jim (Irene) Driedger, George (Kathy) Driedger, Daniel (Darlene) Driedger and Mary Margaret Driedger (Mike Roney); brother-in-law Ken (Karen) Toman, Myron (Marilyn) Gascho, Kevin (Nadine) Gascho, father-in-law Gerry Gascho and many nieces nephews and their families.
She was predeceased by her precious daughter Heidi Thompson, infant sister Patricia, brother Richard, niece Jenny, sister Marlene, her mother Margaret and mothers-in-law Jean and Wendy.
Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Wednesday, June 12, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Avon Mennonite Church, 90 Greenwood Drive, Stratford on Thursday, June 13, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Avondale Cemetery.
