The family announces with sorrow his death in North Bay, Sunday April 24th 2016 at the age of 77 years. Son of the late David Commanda and the late Theresa (née Lariviere) Commanda. Predeceased by his wife Beverly (née McLeod) Commanda. Dear father of Jimmy, Donna (Mike), Tom (Tammy), Ashley, Stephanie (Steve), Kim, and Courtney (Adam). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Kayla (Matt), Taz (Justin), Joe (Julie), Jesse (Jody), Raven, Clover, Jaden, Patrick, Austin (Emily), Kyra, Cedar, Amber, Mackenzie, River, Olivia, Jocelyn and by his 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Veronica Lindsay, Louise (Bernadette) Restoule and his brother Alex. Predeceased by his brothers Edward, Louis, Fred, Valerian, Rene and by his sisters Charlotte McLeod, Bella Commanda. Ronald retired from Inco in 1991 and worked at Casino Rama until the age of 70 years. Many thanks and appreciation to the doctors and nurses at North Bay Regional Health Centre, CCU and Dialysis Unit for their dedicated and compassionate care. The family will receive friends in Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village, Tuesday April 26, 2016 after 2:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village, Wednesday April 27, 2016 at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements in care of Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
