MARCH 9, 1930 ~ DECEMBER 13, 2018 (AGE 88)
Peacefully at the Fox Run by the River in Gananoque, on December 13, 2018 in his 89th year, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Alene. Oakley will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his daughter Nancy and her husband Duncan Moorhead, as well as his grandchildren Scott (Emily), Andy (Lisa), and great grandchildren Madison, Logan, Aidan, and Adelyn. He will always be remembered and loved by his siblings, Joyce, Merlin, Gail, Lyman, Gene, sister-in-law Margaret Martin, late siblings Donald, Elwood, and Stanley, also missed by his many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Fox Run by the River, for all their care given. Family and friends will be received at the TROUSDALE FUNERAL HOME in Sydenham on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 between the hours of 11 – 1:30pm for an informal gathering of remembrance and friendship. For those who wish; memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
