It is with great sadness that the family of Boyd Balogh announces his sudden passing on Friday, July, 21, 2017 at the age of 51.
Boyd will be lovingly remembered by his parents Thereza and Zoltan, his brother Brandon, sister-in-law Susan and his nieces Audrey and Gwyneth. He will also be missed by his extended family and his many close friends and colleagues. Boyd was a magnanimous person, always high spirited and witty. He profoundly touched many lives in his short time with us, and has left a deep and lasting impression.
Boyd’s outstanding academic and professional achievements led to his highly successful career as a lawyer, and to his partnership at Gowlings WLG law firm for the past 11 years.
The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES à NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Wednesday, August 2nd from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. A celebration of Boyd’s life will be held at VAUGHAN ESTATES, 2075 Bayview Avenue (80 Armistice Drive), on Thursday, August 3rd from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
