Died shortly after a glorious week with his beloved family at his cottage in Muskoka. Predeceased by his loving wife Ann Sheldon Cowan in 2001.
Remembered fondly by John (Maggie), Marg (Sean); grandchildren Scott, Brad (Catherine), Glenn (Amy), Matthew, Amanda (Geoff) and Jessica; great-grandchildren Charles, Wes, Russell, Renley, Summer, Ethan and Haddy.
Graduated UofT, Commerce Class of 4T2, then to War, but called home to help run the family business, Doug built Harold P. Cowan Company into a successful import and manufacturing group. The family will gather on the dock in Muskoka for a private service to share stories and memories of Doug.
