AKEY, Verna Aileen(nee Brown) passed away peacefully at her home on Friday August 17th, 2018 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife for 68 years to Gordon Goldie Akey. Loving mother of Earl & his wife Judy, Ronald & his wife Barbara, Stan & his spouse Marg, Gail VanBlaricom & her husband Rob and Robert
& his spouse Susan. Nan will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Merle Brown & his wife Gail and Anita Warren. Predeceased by her brothers Carman Brown & his wife Donna and Garnet Brown & his wife Pauline, her sisters Betty Botting & her husband Howard, Marlene Morgan & her husband Elmer and her brother
in the law Bill Warren. Verna will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and many friends. Friends are invited to call at the Weaver Family Funeral Home – East Chapel, 29 Bay St.Trenton on Tuesday August 2 1st, 2018 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the East Chapel on Wednesday August 22nd, 2018 at 1 pm. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
