Passed away peacefully on Sunday November 13, 2016 at Sunset Manor, Collingwood with Gerry, her loving husband of 65 years, at her side. Jean of Wasaga Beach, in her 90th year, loving mother of Nancy, Steven (Mary Rose) and Sandra (Hans). Cherished grandmother of Maddalena, Angela and Carina and great-grandmother of Téo. Predeceased by her brothers Bob Barnett, Tom Barnett, Bill Barnett and Roy Barnett. Jean was a talented and very active quilter and her creations will be keeping many of us warm for many years to come. The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Harry O’Halloran and and his assistant Linda for their many years of outstanding compassionate care. They were always there for her. The staff at The Sunset Manor were outstanding in their care for Jean and we want them to know how much we valued their thoughtfulness and compassion. Friends will be received at thegiovanelli0001, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 2 p.m. for the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3p.m.. Reception to follow.
