It is with great sadness our family announces the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, and papa. Jerry passed away at his home, on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the age of 73. Deeply loved by his wife of 51 years, Terry (nee Smith) and daughters Sandy (Trevor) and Shae (Kelly). Cherished Papa to Jace, Olivia, William, Carter and Bronson.
Dear brother of Ginger (the late Ken), Connie (Peter) and Roger (Janet). Uncle Jerry will be remembered with love by many nephews and nieces.
Jerry was driven by his devotion to his family and passion for his work across North America in municipal water storage. Often referred to as (Papa Stark), his big personality became well known and loved amongst the families of his grandson’s sports teams. He was an avid golfer and fan of the sport. Jerry will be remembered most for his kind and generous heart, never missing an opportunity to help a family member, friend or stranger in need.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 1 p.m., with a Memorial Service beginning at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to Epilepsy Canada would be appreciated by the family.
