ohn died peacefully on October 13, 2014 at Billings Court Manor, Burlington at the age of 93 years. Born in Midland, Ontario in 1920, he subsequently lived in England and Scarborough. Much loved husband of Dorothy and then Edna. Father of Susan and John, grandfather of four and great-grandfather of nine, all residing in the U.K. Close friend of the Hayden family of Millgrove and Burlington. Military service in WWII was followed by a long and distinguished career as Special Agent with C.N. Railway Police. Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough.
