Jane’s family is heartbroken to announce her passing on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 after a brief but bravely-fought battle with cancer.
Jane was a gentle and loving mother to Will Gravlev and his wife Rachel Horvath and Charlotte Gravlev and her husband Stephen Gillespie and a wise, proud, devoted and dearly-loved grandmother to Hugh, Maxwell and Katharine Gillespie.
Jane was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter Gravlev, remarkable parents Millicent (nee Sadler) and Frederick Eyre, a brother David, in infancy, and best friends Darlene Sachan and Janice Cudd.
Jane is also survived by three very dear aunts: Joan Sadler, Patricia Spaight and Mary Cooke, of London England; and many cherished cousins and friends in Canada and the UK, with whom she loved to share travels, deep discussions and glasses of good wine.
Friends are invited to share memories of Jane with her family during a memorial visitation in the Historic Kuntz House of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 2, 2018 at 3 p.m. A reception will immediately follow in the Kuntz House beside the Chapel.
