Avis de décès de Rudolph Helfinger
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rudy Helfinger, peacefully with family at his side, on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo at the age of 85.
Predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Bernhardt) in January, 2008, parents Johann and Rosina (Welker) Helfinger, brother Joseph Helfinger, and sisters Alma Helfinger and Frieda (Frank) Klassen.
Rudy is survived by his sister Christina (Paul) Loci, sister-in-law Lilly Helfinger, and his many nieces and nephew.
He was a talented musician and enjoyed sharing that gift with friends and fellow residents at Parkwood Mennonite Home. He was a kind and generous man who will be missed.
We would like to express our thanks to the staff of Parkwood Mennonite where he truly felt at home.
Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the service with interment after the reception at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
