God called Jessie Geurkink home on Friday, May 4, 2018. She married her one and only love on earth and joined Henk in heaven. A lady loved by her children Shirley Geurkink of Ottawa, Ron (Brenda) of Brinston and Brenda Geurkink-Guy of Gananoque. Jessie was the proud Grandma of Mitchell, Travis (Katelyn), Adrian, Kaitlyn, Katrina and Chelsea. Great-Grandma of Keira and Austin. Lovingly remembered by her siblings Henk Evers (Dina), Bernard Evers (Ann), Anne Harbers (Harry), Joan Oosterink (Bill), Dini Vandermeer (Don), John Evers (Lena), her in-laws Tena Evers, Arie Geurkink (Janny), John Geurkink and Gerry Westervelt. Predeceased by her brother Gerry Evers and her in-laws Siep Hoiting, Grace Kolff (James), Coral Geurkink and Johanna Westervelt. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Friday, May 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Dixons Corners Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 a.m. Donations to Winchester Hospital or Wycliffe Bible Translation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
