Dear Friends, it is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our Dad and Poppa, John DAVID Doman on November 11, 2015.
David was born on September 8, 1934, son of Ila and John Doman of Chatham. Dad celebrated his 81st birthday. Oh what a great life he led!!!! Dad was married to the love of his life Marilyn (2009) for 50 wonderful years. Dad is survived by his four (kids) Jane and Dan Salazar, Judy and Tom Serafimovski, John and Monica Doman, Carole and Mike Comelli. Very proud Poppa of Amanda, David, Kristi, Nati, Joshua, Jessica and Justin. David was the very special friend of Mary Ellen Harrison. He was a dedicated employee of Union Gas. He was very fortunate to have made life long friends. He was one of the co-founders of the dart league and co-founder of the Georgia Golf Trip. Dad loved to find new and exciting places to explore and share with family and friends. Buddy’s pizza, brunch with Bach and Saturday afternoons at the air force club with Bobby Brew and the Dixieland band were only a few of his fun finds. Dad loved to spend time with family and friends where many memories were made. Nothing was better than a good party! If you so desire, donations to the Salvation Army or Windsor Regional Hospital-Windsor Essex Cardiac Wellness Centre would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. On Monday, you are invited to join the family as we celebrate the life of David at 11:30 a.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
