Peacefully on February 28, 2017 at 62 years of age. Loved father of Andrea Wadi (Samer). Treasured Jidu of Maya and Maximus. Predeceased by his parents Najib and Marie Dakhil. Beloved brother of Elie and family, the late Tony and family, Abdo, the late Aida Hallett and family and Amale. Georges was born on September 14, 1954 in Zahle, Lebanon and moved to Windsor in 1976. He worked at Ford Canada for 13 years as a line worker. Special thank you to his sister Amale for her years of care giving and support. Thank you to the staff of Windsor Regional Hospital-Ouellette Campus Dialysis Unit for their loving and compassionate care and to the extraordinary staff of Banwell Gardens especially Rachel and Kelly for their dedication and time spent with him. If you so desire, donations to the family would be appreciated. Visiting Thursday 3-5pm and 7-9pm with prayers at 8:00pm. Funeral Friday 9:15am leaving from Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 to St. Charbel Church for Mass at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
