assed away peacefully on November 19, 2014 at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Joyce. Dearest son of Bernard (2014) and Lucy Grabowiecki. Loving brother of Sue (Dan) Cox and Bernie Grabowiecki. Step-father of Gary Longeuay of Calgary, Marc Longeuay (Jen). Adoring Papa John to Hailey Longeuay of Lindsay. Brother-in-law of Luann (Alan) Nesmith of Whitby, Gary (Fran) Smith, Charles Smith (2004), Brian (Tracie) Smith of Surrey, BC. Proud uncle of Tim (Lisa) Cox, Trevor Cox (Jen), Kim Cox, Tony (Dani) Smith, Amanda (Joe) Iera, Travis Smith, Matt Smith, Peter Nesmith, and Thomas Nesmith. John was a kind and gentle soul who enjoyed retirement after 30 years of service at GM Transmission. He loved playing slots and bingo, watching golf on Sunday afternoons and enjoyed long drives with Joyce throughout the county.
