It is with broken Hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother at the age of 86, on September 29, 2013, with her loving family by her side. Reunited with her husband Emilio (2003). Devoted mother of John (Jan Gallo), Cesare, Mario (Angela Tomaselli), Mary Perpich (Tony Alleva), Bernadette Cuffaro (Mike), Lina (Kim Scott), and her youngest daughter Michelle, who took care of her so dearly. Daughter of the late Augostino and Beralda Gimigliano, and daughter-in-law of the late Carolina Fedele and Fedele Cesare. Beloved mother-in-law of Carol Fedele and Peter Hall. Predeceased by her sons Francesco (2002) and Giovanni Salvatore (1948), and her grandchildren, Catherine Kairalla-Hubartt (2011) and Brice O. Scott (2006). Beloved Nonna of Christopher (Maria), Emilio, Amy (Keith), Calogero, Michael, Mark (Krissy), Scott and Kimberly (Chad). Loving Bis-Nonna of Rocco, Reid, Emily, Ashley and Scott. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Nella Germanese (Antonio), and Sissina Bini (Giuseppe). Predeceased by her sister Josephine Bini (1976) (Alex). She will be missed by Lisa Mollica (Dino) and Anna Saab (Doug Steele) who she loved like her own daughters. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Canada, Italy and France. Our mother never took the simple things in life for granted. She would let us know on a daily basis how thankful she was for each of us and how much she loved us. She absolutely loved all her children unconditionally. She was a strong woman of faith, believing in the power and strength of God’s love and the beauty and peace that would await her after her passing. Special thanks to MJ and Charles at Hotel Dieu Hospital, 7th floor, and Dr. Wallace Liang for their loving and compassionate care.
