Passed away suddenly at the age of 60 in the comfort of his home. Son of the late Winston Skyers and late Iony Skyers (Gray). Dear brother of Jean, Devon, Naydean, Keitha and Warren. Loving father to Rose (Doug), Paulette (Rick), Shannon (Bill), Jordan, Byron and Lindsey (Wes). Cherished Grandfather to 19 & great grandfather to 6. Rudy retired happily from Chrysler in 2005. He was well known for his love of life, but mostly enjoyed playing hockey, shooting pool, darts and watching sports. Rudy was the master at BBQ’ing and loved his rock n roll music. George was his favorite little buddy. Rudy was well known and loved by many people and he will be dearly missed and thought of frequently by everyone who had the honor of knowing him. We will continue to keep his legacy alive; your big smile will forever be missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Prostate Cancer Canada .
Family and friends are invited to gather at Morris Sutton Funeral Home, 68 Giles Blvd E. Windsor (519-254-8633) on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, March 31, from 11:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. The family would like to extend an invitation for a wake that will take place at 1181 Partington Ave., Windsor at 5:00 p.m.
We pray Rudy is with his family in heaven, knowing he is no longer suffering. Forever dad, we love you dearly & will miss you.
