It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Murray Wagner of Lakeside at the age of 63, on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at the VON Sakura House in Woodstock, with his wife by his side. Born in Stratford ON, on October 15, 1950 to the late Stanley and Eileen (nee Murray) Wagner. David will always be remembered by his loving wife Astrid Segeren-Wagner with whom he had been together for 30 years. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Susan McGavin (Bill), Lori Ruston (Tom) and his brothers Allen Wagner (Bev), Doug Wagner (Jenny), Mark Wagner (Linda), as well as by Astrid’s family, Nelly Segeren, Wilma Segeren, Cathy Segeren (John), Agnes Segeren-Pethick (Brian), Adrian Segeren (Marnie), Tim Segeren (Peggy). Randy Segeren (Karen). He will be missed by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as many very dear friends and relatives. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Eileen Wagner, his father-in-law, Sjaan Segeren and brother-in-law Anthony Segeren as well as his sister-in-law Judy Segeren . A private family funeral is going to be held at a later date. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family for a visitation and Celebration of Life, on Friday, March 21, 2014, from 7 à 9 PM at the Stratford Country Club, 53 Romeo St, North, Statford.As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the VON Sakura House, Woodstock for their loving and compassionate end of life care and can be arranged through the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St, North, Woodstock (519) 537-3611. We will be honouring David`s name on a memory stone in the Sakura House Memory Pathway. You will be supporting the VON Sakura House by knowing that you made a difference in the lives of so many. Thank you to London Cancer Clinic for giving David the (Extension of Life). Thank you to CCAC, especially to Marlene Franklin and April Klassen and Dr. Sondhi, for their support, kindness and (Care of Life).
