DESJARDINS, Ted à Passed away at the Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, Theodore (Ted) Francis Desjardins of Woodstock in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Theresa (Terry) Desjardins (nee Kiefer). Loving father of Tracey Bedard (Rick) of Goderich and Sandy Desjardins of Red Deer, Alberta. Missed by his grandchildren Adrienne and Alison Bedard. Dear brother of Gerald Desjardins (Marie) of Toronto, brother-in-law of Hilda Schuett of Moosejaw and Gary Kiefer (Leonila) of Regina. Predeceased by his parents Rene and Josephine Desjardins (Denham) and a brother-in-law Karl Kiefer. Ted was a teacher with the Oxford County Board of Education and taught in Woodstock for many years. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LEROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St, North, Woodstock on Thursday for visitation from 7:00 à9:00 pm. Parish prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:30pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014, 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock with Father Rick Dales as celebrant. A spring interment will be held in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
