Passed away peacefully at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia on Sunday, January 12, 2014. Carolyn Ann Buchanan (nee Dies), of Wyoming, was in her 75th year. She was a loving wife to Richard Buchanan and a loving mother to her daughters Judy (Jack) Inch of Wyoming, Melissa (Doug) Hakala of Sarnia, and Susan (James) Morgan of Tillsonburg. Loving grandmother of Nicholas Hakala and Grace Hakala. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Theresa Dies of Michigan and her brother James (the late Judy). Carolyn will be missed by her brothers; Ben (Pat), Larry, Claude (Helen), Bob (the late Patty), John, and Jeff and her sisters Gloria Dies, Barbara Dies, Betty (Norman) Haase, and Juanita (Mike) Cress. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Carolyn was active in her community, her church, and shared her great love of music and talent with all. Visitors will be received on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wyoming Chapel, 650 Broadway St., Wyoming and on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. at the Wyoming Baptist Church, Broadway St., Wyoming where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Rev.
